CALYPSO SERIES 1989 (Bolero Technique) Calypso 1989 8” x 16” x 15” 12 pieces total BOTANICAL SERIES 1985 - 1986 These were created with cut sheet glass shapes, glass threads and chunks of crushed glass. They were large and labor intensive. The pieces were fused and cooled, then slumped on a second firing into a large metal mold.I used my big 44” x 44” x 24” inside dimension fiber kiln for these pieces. 24 pieces to  Saturn’s Serenade 1986 14” X 22” X 18” |
VITROGLYPH SERIES 1989 I pressed a design into a wet sand/clay mix on a kiln shelf. Then I layed crushed colored glass into this and fused a clear sheet of glass on top. I flipped the dimensional surface up and slumped it in a metal mold. 9 pieces total  Vitroglyph 1989 8” x 16” x 15” |

| ZIG ZAG SERIES 1984 - 1987 I laid strips of cut colored sheet glass onto a sheet of clear glass. This was heated in an electric kiln to 1600° F and then I combed the glass with a hooked steel rod. The sheet was cooled and then slumped. 35 pieces total  Black Rim Zig Zag 1984 8” x 14” X 13” 13” |
