1982 - 2003 |
||
![]() Post Contemporary 1983-1985 7 x 16 x 15 I began this series at Pilchuck Glass School during the summer of 1983. I cut sheet glass pieces and fused them with crushed glass and glass threads. I slumped the flat fused shape into my metal mold. Some of these were sandblasted before the slump which produced a matte finish. Later pieces were shiny. 50 pieces total |

![]() Tidepool 1982 6 x 15 x 14 This was my first series of bowls. I cut and layered pieces of sheet glass, added glass nautical creatures that would be found in a tidepool, and fused this in my electric kiln. I created my first stainless steel mold to slump the glass into and have used it for twenty years. 6 pieces total |
